Editorial responsibility
Editorial responsibility for this website lies with Hard2bit S.L. (VAT ID B86717147). Hard2bit decides what is published, at what scope and under what technical criteria, and has the authority to approve, amend or reject any content before and after publication.
Articles on our blog and our service pages identify, where relevant, the author and the specialists who reviewed the content, including their role and verifiable professional profile.
How we produce content
- Research against primary sources. Where content covers regulatory matter (ENS, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, GDPR), our reference is the official published text — the Spanish State Gazette, the Official Journal of the EU, CCN-STIC guidance or the standard itself — not third-party summaries.
- Drafting. Drafts may be produced with the support of generative AI tools, always starting from our own judgement, our project experience and the sources above.
- Substantive human review. Hard2bit staff with knowledge of the subject verify technical and regulatory facts, correct anything that does not hold up, and approve, amend or reject the text. This is not a formal or spell-check pass: if a figure or a regulatory statement cannot be traced back to its source, it is not published.
- Publication and periodic review. Content is published with a date and revisited when the rule, its interpretation or our own practice changes. Pages carry their last review date.
Use of generative AI in text
Our content originates in our own work: the topics, the angle, the technical criteria and the conclusions come from the services we deliver, the projects we run and the knowledge of our team. On that basis we use generative AI tools to support drafting, structuring and reviewing the text.
AI does not supply the professional, technical, legal or regulatory judgement — that is ours — and it is not used to make automated decisions about clients, employees or users without human involvement.
All published content has gone through the editorial control described above, exercised by Hard2bit S.L. as the party holding editorial responsibility.
AI-generated images
The illustrative images on this website and blog — technical environments, data centres, offices or working scenes — are generated with artificial intelligence tools. They are not photographs of Hard2bit's premises, equipment or staff, nor of our clients'.
This is a deliberate security decision: as a cybersecurity company, publishing real images of our sites, our infrastructure or our people would hand over material useful for reconnaissance, social engineering or physical intrusion. We would rather illustrate without exposing.
Accordingly, no illustrative image should be read as evidence, as a record, or as a faithful depiction of a real facility, system or person.
What we never do with AI-generated images:
- Present them as technical evidence, real screenshots or project records.
- Use them in case studies to simulate client environments or results.
- Recreate identifiable people, third-party brands, or specific existing places or events.
Real photographs — where used — and the seals, certificates and accreditations published under Certifications are authentic, verifiable documents, not generated material.
Independence and commercial content
Hard2bit is a provider of cybersecurity and compliance services, and its content also serves a commercial purpose. When we compare regulatory frameworks, technologies or approaches, we set out the criteria we apply. We do not publish third-party sponsored content or paid links, and any mention of vendors or brands reflects our real working experience with them.
Corrections and updates
If you spot a factual error, an outdated figure or an incorrect regulatory interpretation, write to info@hard2bit.com quoting the URL. We check the point against the primary source and, where warranted, correct the content and update its review date.
Regulatory framework
This policy is published in application of the transparency principles of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), in particular the transparency obligations in its Article 50 concerning AI-generated or manipulated content, and of Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) on automated decision-making.
